More Than Medicine: Handling Emotions in Practice
Short description
In veterinary practice, you’re not just treating animals; you’re also guiding their owners through moments of joy, grief, and even frustration. Every point of contact can bring a new wave of emotion. How do you handle that?

Description
Imagine this:
- A happy client walks in with their new puppy. They are excited and have lots of questions.
- Then, you meet a quiet and sad owner. Their cat is very sick and must be put to sleep.
- After that, a client comes in who is angry. He thinks the treatment costs too much.
In this training session, we will talk about these types of situations. You will learn why people react the way they do and how to respond calmly and kindly.
You will learn:
- How to see and understand people's emotions.
- How to calm things down when a pet owner is emotional.
- How to feel more confident and in control when facing these challenging situations.
It’s not just about "difficult people". It’s about understanding feelings and helping both animals and their owners in the best way possible.
Join us and learn how to deal with emotions in your daily work.
